The following tutorial describes how to open you domain with Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003.


  • Click on Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office -> Click on "Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003".
  • Once Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 is loaded, Click Files -> Open Site

 

  • A window will pop up. Enter your domain name in the field at the bottom.
  • Make sure that you have a ftp:// before your domain name.

 

  • A window will come up, you will want to click the user button then enter your username in the area that lights up, then enter you password and hit "OK".

 

  • The Next window will ask for your username and password again.

 

  • The next window you will see five options, you will want to select "FTP".  Next in the field that says "Web site location" enter your domain name.   Make sure that you have FTP:// in front of it.  Then hit next.

 

  • Next it will ask you for the directory or folder where all of the files for your domain are.  Once you direct it and it shows it in the field hit continue.

 

  • You will next get a window telling you that it is working and you can now start to work on your domain. Click finish to continue.

 

  • To transfer a file you will want to first get the file in the left set of folders to show.  Next you will want to enter the "www" folder on you domain.

 

  • Finally you will want to double-click the file or you can drag and drop it or you can click the blue arrows in between the two directories windows.
